Hello to all our ex-students and parents from ISS Tembagapura! It is great to read about your lives on this site, but hard to imagine you all now, grown up or college students. Bruce, Monika and I are living in Ecuador, after 4 years in Pakistan. We knew all you kids so well after living together in such a tight community, and are glad to hear about your lives. It was definitely a unique place for our family. Where else can you stand at the door and yell “Dinner’s ready” and have the kids come home from playing somewhere around.

HEY all its me tegan!!! obviously. I had no idea this existed until about 4hrs 8mins and 36sec wait 38sec ago…. My family Krissy,Raymond(bullet), Cody and FAT Cat lived in tembagapura from 88 to 94. I had the best time of my life there. Seriously people asked where I had come from and nobody beleived me!! I now know why! Although we had problems there i still enjoyed it. Hope all whom are there now are safe and will remain that way. I remember that super old store and all of those rats on the food eeeewwww! And I remember the good things of course. Please everyone and anyone contact me, and come visit. Deron and Pam Scarabin had a baby boy named Andrew Patrick Scarabin on March 26, 2002 in New Orleans.

WOW! I’m just having a huge memory rush. I just hear about this site about 1/2 hour ago. I was in T-Bags from circa 89-96. I just wanted to give a shout out to EVERYONE!!! I miss you all terribly, and look forward to info about a renunion. My parents, Gary and Janie are in Columbia. My dad is working for another mining company, and my mom is teaching second grade at the international scool in Cartegena. My oldest brother Ben is in school in Reno finishing up a history degree, and Adam is married and living in Denver. His little baby boy Caleb Elijah was born Dec. 14 weighing in at 7lbs 5oz. I’m a freshman at Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, MI. Not quite sure what i’m gonna study, but it’s not gonna be Bio, Chem, Math or Physics. Anyways, I’d love to hear from any and all old friends!!!!

To think that I thought I would loose contact with those that I called my family for so many years in Tembags. Not anymore. This site is perfect to avoid loosing contact. Thanks so much for putting it together. My family- The Borders (Joe, Aileen, Joey &amp Johnny) were in Irian for pretty much all of the 90’s (more or less). Haven’t been back since high school and sure miss it. It’s great to hear names again of those that I grew up with. I definitely think somesort of reunion is in order-maybe this summer! I know there has been talk-but we should just do it. Contact me! I’m a junior at San Diego State University and the boys are up in Northern Cal in the Bay Area; Joey(Igotitall91@aol.com) is a sophomore and Johnny (sk8john21@aol.com) is a freshman this year. This site is fantastic. I lived in tembagapurra on “Street 7, House 162″ from 1981- 1990, I was fairly young when I left but I still have a lot of great memories. Some of the best were of functions at the lupalala club and at the ISS school. My parent Heather and Terry Rankin would be more familiar to most people. If anyone remembers us and would like to get in contact that would be great!

Margo Rhinehart reported the passing of Adam Gasior last Sunday, March 17, 2002. A memorial Mass was held in New Orleans on Thursday, March 21, 2002. Adam was from Australia.

I am so excited to see that everybody has gotten back together here on this web site. Right now the Stouts are located in Reno Nevada. My older sister, Janna, is married and lives in Grand Junction, Colorado. My little sister, Stacy, is a Junior in high school here in Reno. She is currently doing swimming, golf, drama, and acting classes. I am a Junior in college and doing well. I have a lot of GREAT memories from Tembags and I always tell great stories to my friends here in Reno. Anyway, I would love to hear from anybody from around the ‘91-’98 era. My parents lived there for 7 1/2 years and I lived there for 4 1/2. A lot of great memories and who could ask for a better bringing up! Shout out to the WATERMELONS!
